Cat on a hot tin roof.

This is the picture that the Realtor sent us.  It's of one of the three bathrooms, each a disaster. Today's effort to improve this wreck was demo the upstairs bathroom.

While I was out doing laundry John began the demo.

Fifteen minutes into the laundry he sends me a text that the cat went out the window on to the porch roof.  He proceeded to go outside and throw pinecones at the cat to get her back in.  She wasn't having it.  So he went back in to see what he could do.  When he got back upstairs she was just coming in the window,  saw him,  turned around and went back out.  This time she ran up the highest peak of the roof. Only time and boredom got her back in.

Yet with all that interruption he managed to get this far.

The upstairs bathroom is one of my favorite rooms in the house.  I think it's the huge enormous window and the thick woodwork which is so prevalent in this house. We'll see what we can turn this into. Even through all its ugliness I can see something charming awaiting.
