Saturday/Sunday

The weekend was uneventful. I think we went into slow mode because of the temperature change. We left the 70's and 80's behind and moved back into the 40's and 50's. "What are you complaining about?" you say. Lord knows we don't miss winter up in Wisconsin and I'm not comparing the two. I'm just saying.

Saturday I added up every penny we have spent on fixing up this house. John hunted for bare wires. The plumber finally showed up with the bathroom bill. We expect him Monday or Tuesday to remove the old log heater from the fireplace in the room we sleep in and install a new one.

Today we forced ourselves not to work but relax and enjoy the Sabbath rest. I napped and John watched sailing videos. All of a sudden Fort Myers looked good and it became a sell day.

We hung two interesting heat diverting sources I found on the Internet when I was Googling "fans to bring down heat from 12 foot ceilings". I'll take a few pictures tomorrow and give it the thermostat test.

We ended our day watching ANGLES IN THE OUTFIELD. Tomorrow will be a busy day.
