We have 24 doors on the bottom of this house. That includes indoor, outdoor, closet door. A month ago I wrote about the outside door off the screen porch. The door was on backwards with the hinges on the outside. We were able to turn it around and secure it to open up (and close again). Today it was supposed get painted. Well, that didn't happen.
Now, the outside.
Now, the inside.
Instead I painted the front door. It was previously a sunken submarine grey. We brightened it up with a copper pumpkin color.
I started painting it before I took the picture. The door just gobbled up the paint. I think it was as excited as I was to give it a new coat of paint. It's a grand old door. It has beveled edges, it's original door knob and a non-working deadbolt. I plan to paint the face plate of the door knob a color to match the knob.
We did plenty of other odds and ends of which I'm too tired to talk about.
