Weekend and Weather

It's been a few days so I thought I best catch up. We spent the weekend outside cleaning up the back yard. There was a lot of raking to catch up on. I stand corrected about the big tree at the back of the property line. It isn't a Magnolia although we do have plenty of those, it an Oak. I'm not sure which type yet.

There is an old building in the back yard that was used as a dog house for some poor old beast. What its original use was I can't really say. We're not sure what we're going to do with it but at least it is cleaned up.

Another building in the back yard is a storage shed and a sad parking garage.

In one of my part blogs I wrote about the live bare wire that was electrified out to the dog house area. These are the wires John cut.

So this is what we have been doing the last three days. The weather was nice over the weekend, a little sun, a little rain, and plenty of warm. Unfortunately that was because of the storms that were traveling through and caused the deadly tornado in Alabama this weekend.
